We have an awesome array of fitness activities on offer throughout the weekend to keep you all on your toes!
We be will open from 4pm for food, drink, music and camping to ease us in to a nice relaxed state ready for the action packed day ahead on Saturday. 38DegreesNorth will get the blood flowing with a live HIIT demonstration, leading to a chill out session with local musician Evie Plumb as we eat, drink and be merry in preparation for a good night’s sleep and star gazing as the night draws in.
SATURDAY 22nd – Daytime
You will need to wake up bright and breezy, and ready for an action packed day ahead!
There will be hourly sessions on the Main Stage from our dynamic fitness experts, starting from 9am. With varied taster sessions scheduled throughout the day, ranging from Sports Yoga, through to cardio pumping HIIT – so everyone should find something to join in with and get moving! Side events will also take place providing information on all the activities on offer from the weekend’s experts, as well as tuition on Climbing, Paddleboarding and Strength training. Places may be limited on some of these activities, so make sure you’re an early bird to bag a slot!
We will also have experts on hand to teach and advise on a number of complementary life and wellbeing skills, such as Mindfulness and Paediatric First Aid, as well as providers of therapeutic massage and healing treatments to ensure that bodies and minds get equal focus and to give a flavour of the benefits of space and quiet contemplation. .
SATURDAY 22nd – Evening
At around 7pm the Main Stage will give way to an evening of music from local musicians including folk band Rip the Calico and up and coming Carlisle stars, Hardwicke Circus. Accompanied by fabulous food and drink, this music session will provide opportunity to recharge and refresh, and give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work!
SUNDAY 23rd – Morning
The closing day will see the event focus in Zone 2 with breakfast and activities on offer to keep you in the fitness mood. 38DegreesNorth will challenge you to a morning HIIT and be on hand to discuss aspects of fitness and strength building in the tent. You may fancy a mindful walk by the riverside or a wild swim in the river just to prove you’ve got the guts for it ;)! Food will be on offer from breakfast through ’til lunchtime, when things will wind up and wind down…
All in all, a mind blowing range of activities for everyone to enjoy!
